Regional Rail Link
ARSC supplied various components from 2012-2014 throughout each project phase of the Regional Rail Link (RRL). The project expanded Victoria’s rail network with 47.5 km of rail from Southern Cross Station, running through Footscray, Sunshine and Tarneit joining the Geelong Line at Manor Junction, west of Werribee.
At the time, the RRL was the largest transport infrastructure project being completed in Australia. The project included the construction of an extra 2 sets of tracks from Southern Cross station to Sunshine, running alongside the Western line, and a new dual-track line from Deer Park, that now links the Warrnambool line west of Werribee, nearby the site of the former Manor railway station.
